Barbara sold our NC house, and let’s just say, it was a heck of a ride to be on! From the first moment that we met her, we felt completely at ease. Barbara was a great help in finding us a house and even helped us through selling our home which we were doing without an agent. She offered great advice and was the only agent who wasn’t trying some sales trick to have us list our house with them. We sold our house and Barbara found us our next house right away. As a For Sale By Owner I was shocked by all the tricks that the local agents used to get inside my house including using their kids and relatives to get in the house trying to list it. I recently got a new job in the Mooresville area and started looking for places to live. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the options and slightly taken aback by the prices (I'm coming from an area with lower housing costs). I met Barbara one Saturday to look around and I immediately felt at ease. She's amazing! She provided information about various apartment complexes, visited the complexes with me, and gave me details about traffic and the best routes to take to work. She asked pointed questions when we visited the complexes, things I hadn't thought to ask at the time. She even told me to call her when I moved to the area so we could have lunch because she knew I'd be moving further away from my family and wouldn't know anyone in the area. We were extremely pleased with the service Barbara provided. Her high level of professionalism was seen and heard throughout the entire morning. Her questioning style when getting to know who we were made it easy to share. She asked questions of the leasing agents and injected with follow up questions making sure all information was given. She provided information about what the area provided as far as entertainment, shopping and holiday activities the city provided. She even gave short cut tips during peak traffic times. Barbara didn't leave until we had seen and had enough information to make an informed decision. She also assisted when we were unable to change my daughter's address on her renter's insurance policy because of the moratorium placed on the area we live in due to the hurricane. Prior to me contacting Barbara, she had already reached out to our daughter to find out if her dad and I were okay knowing from our time together on Saturday, we lived in the area of the mandatory evaluation.
